Review ~ The Lost Soul of Lord Badewyn by Mia Marlowe

A Regency Paranormal. How could I not?! I jumped into this series on #3 and have to start at the beginning because it is just THAT good! Deliciously good!

A group of Paranormally inclined regency lords, ladies and even commoners. They are called the Order of the M.U.S.E, Metaphysical Union of Sensory Extraordinaire. [br]  [br]

Heroine ~ Meg Anthony is a commoner who has out of body experiences of finding things or even people. She is a mixture of innocence and sophistication. [br] [br]

Hero ~ Samuel, Lord of Badewyn is a Nephilim, the son of a fallen Angel and a human. Samuel can see the future, not clearly, but enough to send warnings to the Order when needed. He's cut himself off from civilization in an attempt to circumvent a sort of curse. [br]  [br]

There are several plot lines running throughout the story, but it is easy enough to keep track of them. The Duke of Camden, the Order's leader is searching for answers from beyond the grave. Samuel is trying to protect Meg from a fate worse than death. Meg is trying to do her best to help Camden. [br]  [br]

The romance was wonderful, the story was full of adventure and mystery. The characters interesting beyond measure. I'll be enjoying the other chapters of this series soon!

Meg Anthony was never raised a lady. Instead, she grew up amongst grifters who used her unique “finding” ability for their own selfish purposes. Recently, she's been taken under the wing of the Duke of Camden and the Order of M.U.S.E., learning not only the fine art of becoming a lady, but how to use her extraordinary talent to help others.

But Meg's gift is a beacon to unsavory characters who would possess her.

Charged with her protection, Lord Badewyn knows—too well—that his wild, Welsh castle is no safe haven for this lovely, all-too-desirable creature. Part human, part fallen angel, he is one of the Nephilim. He is a recluse sworn never to love. As the dangers to Meg grow more threatening, he cannot help but find himself tempted beyond all reason...and tested to see if he has both a heart and a soul.
